Apollo Ideas - [link]

The Apollo Ideas Web site was a collaborative process with the owner of the company, Jeff Brenman. He's a fantastic designer on his own, but he needed a hand with the technical stuff, so I did most of the implementation. It's a beautiful site, so please check it out.

Green Plus - [link]

Straight from the Web site: "Green Plus is a program of the Institute for Sustainable Development to provide smaller enterprises affordable, actionable information for becoming more sustainable and to help them be rewarded for their efforts."

I worked only on a portion of the site - the sustainability certification tool. In short, it's a survey where the respondent's answers are stored automatically in a database for analysis - you can quit at any point and come back to it later. I hesitate to say 'foolproof', but it's pretty cool.

Involvement Works Campaign 2009 - [link]

From the site: "Together the team members of the campaign with the support of the full Chamber staff will meet the challenge to help grow the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce.  Our focus is to introduce more of our local businesses to the benefits of membership and help our members grow their businesses using resources available through the Chamber."

We took the functionality of the TRC '08 Web site and improved upon it using newer technology. AJAX scripts make the volunteer interface more streamlined and seamless. New tools for the campaign staff make it easier to keep track of data.

Total Resource Campaign 2008 - [link]

The purpose of the campaign was to finance new and existing programs of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce. We created a Web site that would allow campaign volunteers to log in and record the sale of memberships, sponsorships, advertising and membership renewals. The data was tracked automatically, and the campaign staff could approve sales at the click of a button.

Design Intension Beta - [link]

I created this site about a month after I graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill's Journalism program. It was a crash course in html and css stylesheets, but I still like some of the elements.

Chicago Rare Book Center - [link]

This template was created as part of an interview process - as a redesign of an existing Web site. I have no affiliation with the Chicago Rare Book Center, but it's a good example of before and after products.
